Four Key Problems to Check:
1. Cupping on Beveled Edges
Problem: Cupping occurs on backside of beveled edges
Remedy: Bridge with drywall adhesive to fill gaps and prevent movement using screw taping
2. Burned Beveled Edges
Problem: Soft edges burned more than 1/8 inch, causing raised lines in seam centers
Remedy: Requires costly trimming of seams and removal of unset gypsum material with prefilling
3. Fractured Butt Ends
Problem: Sheet ends can be fractured
Remedy: Chamfer the butt ends and pre-fill gaps to prevent movement
4. Raised Shoulders
Problem: Common washing up from beveled edges
Remedy: Hand trowel scenes to taper, making seams wider
